ಮೈಸೂರು, March.29,2026: ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ದುಃಖದ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಷ್ಠೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಹೆಗ್ಗಡದೇವನಕೋಟೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಜಿ.ಬಿ. ಸರಗೂರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಭಾರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಅವರು, ಪತಿಯ ಮರಣದ ಮರುದಿನವೇ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ಎಲ್ಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾಠ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶಾಸಕ ಅನಿಲ್ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಾದು ಅವರು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ದಟ್ಟಗಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ, “ನಿಮ್ಮಂತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸೇವೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೇ ಮಾದರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ದುಃಖದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣಾಭಾವ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಗವಂತ ಅವರು ಈ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿ ಶಾಸಕರು ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿದರು.

Heggadadevanakote MLA Anil Chikkamadu visited her residence in Dattagalli, Mysuru, and consoled the bereaved family. He lauded Jyothi’s extraordinary dedication, calling it “commendable and exemplary.”
“Teachers like you are an inspiration to the entire education system,” he said, praising her sense of responsibility towards students even in the face of personal grief. The MLA also offered prayers for strength and expressed solidarity with the family during their difficult time.
