ಮೈಸೂರು, ಮೇ 26: RTI ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಗಂಗರಾಜು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ನಾಳೆಗೆ ಮುಂದೂಡಿದೆ. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ (Second Additional District Court) ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಅರ್ಜಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ (Objection) ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ವಕೀಲರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ, ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾಳೆಗೆ ಮುಂದೂಡಿತು.
RTI ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಗಂಗರಾಜು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಸಂಬಂಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರಿನ ಬ್ಯಾನೆಟ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಾರು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಕುವೆಂಪು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ವಕೀಲ ಎಸ್. ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ವಕಾಲತ್ತು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಳೆಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರದಿಂದ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Mysuru, May 26: The bail plea filed by RTI activist Gangaraju has been adjourned till tomorrow by the court. The hearing was held on Tuesday at the Second Additional District Court in Mysuru.
During the hearing, the government prosecutor sought time from the court to file objections in the case. Considering the request, the court postponed the hearing on the bail application to tomorrow.
RTI activist Gangaraju has been accused of dangerously driving a car with a person seated on the bonnet following a financial dispute. A case in this regard has been registered at the Kuvempunagar Police Station, and police investigation is underway.
Senior advocate S. Lokesh appeared on behalf of the accused. Significant developments are expected in tomorrow’s hearing, as the prosecution is likely to submit its objections regarding the bail plea.
